NASA Releases

Houston, TX - (FILE) -- The STS-126 crewmembers take a break during a training session on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 for a portrait with their crew logo in the Space Vehicle Mock-up Facility at NASA's Johnson Space Center. From the left are astronauts Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper, Shane Kimbrough, both mission specialists; Eric Boe, pilot; Chris Ferguson, commander; Steve Bowen, Sandra Magnus and Donald Pettit, all mission specialists. Magnus is scheduled to join Expedition 18 as flight engineer after launching to the International Space Station with this crew.  STS-126 is scheduled for launch on Friday, November 14, 2008.  The 15-day flight will deliver equipment and supplies to the space station in preparation for expansion from a three- to six-person resident crew aboard the complex.
