London, GBR - August 7, 2005 -- Close-up of the Clock Tower of the Palace of Westminster, popularly known as "Big Ben".  The Clock is one of the largest in the world.  Its hour hand is 9 feet (2.7 m) long and the minute hand is 14 feet (4.3 m) long.  At the base of each clock face in gilt letters is the Latin inscription 'DOMINE SALVAM FAC REGINAM NOSTRAM VICTORIAM PRIMAM' which means 'Lord save our Queen Victoria I'.
