Washington, DC - February 4, 2003 -- This excerpt, entitled "Song of the Martyrs"  comes from a textbook used in the 7th Grade, 2nd Semester in Saudi Arabia. It is one of many examples cited as sources for the American Jewish Committee (AJC) study "The West, Christians, and Jews in Saudi Arabian Schoolbooks" that was released in Washington, D.C. on February 4, 2003.  The report examined 93 textbooks used in Saudi Arabian schools from 1999 to 2002 in grades 1 through 10.
