Washington, D.C. - November 30, 2005 --  First lady Laura Bush announced "All Things Bright and Beautiful" as the theme for the 2005 holiday season at the White House in Washington, D.C. on November 30, 2005.  The official White House Christmas Tree is an 18 foot Fraser fir from the Smokey Holler Tree Farm owned by Betsy and Earl Deal of Laurel Springs, North Carolina.  It stands in the Blue Room on the State Floor.  The tree is decorated with fresh white lilies, large clear balls and strings of glassy balls and fake crystal.  This is a close-up of the ornaments and lilies that hang on the tree.  The fresh lilies, which are kept in water on the tree, have to be changed out every few days..Credit: Ron Sachs / CNP
