General Alexander Haig (United States Army, ret.), White House Chief of Staff, listens to United States President Richard M. Nixon as he holds his second press conference in 2 weeks in the East Room of the White House in Washington, D.C. on March 6, 1974.  In his remarks, the President promised to submit to all questions of the U.S. House Judiciary Committee looking into the Watergate matter and would give a sworn reply to all of the Committee's questions.
