President Gerald R. Ford

United States President Gerald R. Ford, just returning from his two day economic summit with leaders from six other nations, briefed his cabinet on the accomplishments and goals achieved at that meeting in the Cabinet Room of the White House in Washington, DC on June 29, 1976.  The leaders agreed to pursue the objective of sustained economic growth.  From left to right at the table: United States Secretary of the Interior Thomas Kleppe; United States Secretary of State Henry A. Kissinger; President Ford; and United States Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.
